Academic UIL

Hello, it's Minnow!!

Today I will be introducing the topic of academic UIL (aka University Interscholastic League). This is a competition that is only for Texas residents and is a great way to build up academic extracurriculars and academic awards. These tests range from a variety of subjects, so there's plenty of areas to test yourself. I personally have done over 7 UILs for the last 4 years of high school (majority STEM), but I will do my best to cover as much as I can!

• Within these lessons I upload, I can not disclose certain test answers online, but I will try to rewrite the question using different numbers or the same concept to set up practice problems. 

*UPDATE* - I saw 2023 tests being disclosed, therefore I will do the same.

The tests that are given out can be separated into 3 categories:

• VCM Tests (Virtual Challenge Meet Tests)

• TMSCA Tests -the ones given at general meets

• District Tests -these are given at each qualifying level: District, Regionals, State

This will become important when determining question and material structure.
